Features:
· Effectively retrieves the data off the discs created by “drag and drop” CD/DVD writing software, such as well-known Roxio (Adaptec) and Ahead Nero software packages, CeQuadrat’s PacketCD, Instant Write, B’s CLiP and others.
· Recovers CD and DVD data created by standalone devices that record directly onto disks, including: Sony digital cameras, DVD camcorders, personal DVD recorders, etc.
· “On-the-fly” unpacks the files initially compressed by Roxio (Adaptec) DirectCD.
· Retrieves back up files from the discs recorded in several stages (multisession discs).
· Includes a built-in UDF Reader. There is no need to install a third-party software, for example Roxio (Adaptec) UDF Reader driver.
· Finds and retrieves the lost files on UDF discs, including: accidently deleted files, files on quick-formatted disc, files on incorrectly closed disc, etc.
· Rescues the data from scratched, damaged or defective discs.
· Provides direct access to the hardware, bypassing the Windows File System. Looks for the lost tracks (sessions) every time when you insert a new disc into the drive
· Digitally extracts audio tracks into a wide set of wave formats.
· Tests CD readability.
· Extracts ISO Image file.
· Catalogs files and folders into CD library.
· All features are integrated into a common and easy-to-use intuitive shell. User Interface is similar to well-known Windows 95 File Manager (Windows Explorer), with file property pages, pop-up (context) menus and drag-and-drop support.

AnyDVD is a driver, which descrambles DVD-Movies automatically in the background. This DVD appears unprotected and region code free for all applications and the Windows operating system as well. With AnyDVD’s help copy tools like CloneDVD, Pinnacle Instant Copy, InterVideo DVD-Copy, etc. are able to copy CSS protected Movies. You can remove the RPC region code, thereby making the movie region free and viewable on any DVD player and with any DVD player software. With the help of AnyDVD you can watch movies with non matching region codes with every DVD Player Software you like!

Changes in version 6.0.8.0, 2006 10 08 :
- New: Added support for the “Protect DVD-Video” copy protection to the option to remove “Protection based on unreadable Sectors”
- New: UDF filesystem patch. With the help of AnyDVD DVDs protected with “Protect DVD-Video” can now be played on Windows MCE 2005, with Windows Media player or Zoom Player. Without AnyDVD these DVDs will not play correctly on PCs.
- New: Added fix for DVDs with wrong title set search tables. These DVDs caused CloneDVD / CloneDVD mobile to skip parts of the movie. We are not sure if this is the lame attempt of a copy protection, or an unintentional mastering error.
- New: Improved support for the FluxDVD protection found on DVDs created from downloads from CinemaNow (needs CloneCD, CloneDVD 2.9.0.1 or better or CloneDVD mobile 1.1.1.0 or better to make a copy)
- New: Added support for new versions of the SONY Arccos protection to the option to remove “Protection based on unreadable Sectors”
- New: Added check to the “Jump directly to Tile Menu” function, so the player won’t deadlock
- Fix: Title sets with program chains without programs/cells caused AnyDVD to crash
- Some minor fixes and improvements

By using SilverFast PhotoProof you are able to create a colour managed contact proof on a calibrated output device. You only have to select the ICC profile of the printer, paper and ink combination and the desired FOGRA media wedge. The media wedge is used as a reference for a true-to-colour proof. When activating SilverFast PhotoProof, you will see a simulation of the CMYK reference colour space by soft proofing on the calibrated monitor.

There are basically 4 different DVD Sizes,

- DVD-5, holds around 4 700 000 000 bytes and that is 4.37 computer GB where 1 kbyte is 1024 bytes* . DVD+R/DVD+RW and DVD-R/DVD-RW supports this format. Also called Single Sided Single Layered. This is the most common DVD Media, often called 4.7 GB Media.

- DVD-10, holds around 9 400 000 000 bytes and that is 8.75 computer GB. DVD+R/DVD+RW and DVD-R/DVD-RW supports this format. Also called Double Sided Single Layered.

- DVD-9, holds around 8 540 000 000 bytes and that is 7.95 computer GB. DVD+R supports this format. Also called Single Sided Dual Layered. This media is called DVD+R9, DVD+R DL or 8.5 GB Media.

- DVD-18, holds around 17 080 000 000 bytes and that is 15.9 computer GB. DVD+R supports this format. Also called Double Sided Dual Layered.
